New mode to play
In Train Sim World® 5, players can manage various routes, operate new trains, and explore vibrant cities. The game allows you to dive into the ultimate rail hobby that takes you to London, UK, Frankfurt, Germany, and Los Angeles, USA. It also has a new mode called "Conductor Mode," where you step into the role of a conductor in the game.
In this mode, you can check passengers' tickets, clear bags from walkways, and manage train doors in sync with departures and arrivals. It provides a refreshing change of pace from driving and lets you master different aspects of rail operations. Additionally, the game introduces a route-hopping feature that enhances your adventures by enabling you to explore different routes in one session.
In route-hopping, players can explore specific stations on foot and switch between similar locations to discover other installed routes with related connections. You can also enjoy the game’s new live map feature for a real-time, aerial view of any route. However, since the game primarily focuses on train driving, it doesn’t offer interactions with passengers, which may not satisfy players looking for a more interactive experience.
